„These works are part of a large and ongoing collection of Munich´s greatest musicians I´ve seen on stage. While I was sketching and taking snapshots of them, their vibes and melodies influenced the drawings in such a great way that I decided to start the Jazz Series dedicated to those great musicians and Jazz lovers.

I also consider this series as an audiovisual art project, as vocals, tones, rhythms and melodies directly affected the brushwork and my mood while painting.

This series will be exhibited soon in different places in Munich.”

Jazz - Vibes and the Painting

„Live jazz is predestined to bring the listener into the immediate moment...especially with the improvised works one waits anxiously (like the cat in front of the mouse hole), where the piece will develop. Always fresh and spontaneous...the fast, partly intuitive reactions of the musicians. It is similar with dynamic painting, especially in the Zen style. The instrument is the brush...the sound - the color...the composition the theme, the mood / the impression”
